From the very beginning, Tero Vido’s goal was to develop and build one of the best pulse induction systems for the various needs of treasure hunters and other metal searchers all over the world. Tero Vido 3D systems are developed and manufactured in Germany and now used worldwide with great success. In close cooperation and coordination with professional users such as archaeologists, prospectors and hobby detectorists we have now succeeded in bringing a new and state-of-the art pulse induction system with 3D visualization onto the market: the Tero Vido pulse induction system with 3D visualization, in short TVPI.

New and proven technologies from PI technology, such as high-performance transmitters with MOSFET technology and special filters for suppression of interference have been further improved and incorporated into our new development. The TVPI (Tero Vido pulse induction with 3D visualization) is thus one of the most sensitive and modern PI metal detection systems on the world market. The result of three years of research and development work in cooperation with universities, measuring laboratories and treasure hunters was fully implemented in this device.
The electronics, which are controlled by a 3.6 MHz microprocessor, as well as the static evaluation with high stability and sensitivity, have been combined in the TVPI with newly developed circuit technologies for the suppression of electrical interferences and elaborate pulse power electronics.
The TVPI enables the user to find valuable metals in the soil with extreme ease. This metal detector was developed especially for the requirements of archaeologists, prospectors, gold seekers and treasure hunters. Its operation has been simplified to such an extent that it is immediately ready for use – time-consuming practice is no longer necessary. The TVPI can distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The processes of ground balance and calibration have been integrated into this system so that they function almost automatically.
The new Tero Vido pulse induction system with 3D visualization not only recognizes rings, coins and jewellery, but also nuggets, auriferous sand, ores and washed-up gold. The 35-inch (90 cm) search coil has been optimized to detect tiny objects even in the most difficult terrain. Whether you’re on a treasure hunt at home or on your favourite beach, the water-repellent coils make finding treasures a breeze – on land as well as on water.
Especially the newly developed metal discrimination, metal classifications and automatic ground balance make this device an easy to use and professional locating system.
The TVPI pulse induction system with 3D visualization is particularly suitable for deep searches. The performance of this unit is virtually unaffected by salt water, or most types of mineralized soils or temperature changes. The specially developed electronics remove interference signals from the ground and show metal objects clearly. This makes the new TVPI a reliable device for working at great depths and even under the most challenging environmental conditions. The new and improved circuit technology suppresses interference
from power lines and a special pulse technology generates very accurate signals to achieve extremely high locating depths.
