The URS ENDRESS Foundation invited Tero Vido to the first MINE DETECTION SYMPOSIUM (https://www.ue-stiftung.org/symposium-2019) worldwide. It took place in Reinach, Switzerland from 5th to 6th of November 2019.
The goal from URS ENDRESS Foundation (https://www.ue-stiftung.org/) is to redesign the civil minesweeping in a faster, more effective and cost saving way. That´s why they promote projects, which make minesweeping, finding of duds and similar weapon systems possible. Therefore they use UAS (Unmanned Air Systems, drones) with high performance measurement techniques, the reasearch and developement predominantly takes places in Switzerland.
Big opportunities
Our CEO Eric Köster had the opportunity to participate at this event and to exchange knowledge, experiences and technical research with experts from all over the world. There have been experts from the Fraunhofer Institute, the Technical University Ulm and many more.
We are glad that Tero Vido was able to be part of the MINE DETECTION SYMPOSIUM.
